Tennis Drops Road Match with Penn

PHILADELPHIA - Rutgers tennis fell to Penn, 6-1, Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia. Junior Chloe Lee delivered a win in No. 3 singles to highlight weekend action for the Scarlet Knights.
Lee picked up her second singles victory of the spring campaign with her 6-4, 6-3 decision over Penn's Luba Vazhenina. The Albuquerque, New Mexico, native also made her season debut in No. 1 doubles along with senior Ksenija Tihomirova.
The Scarlet Knights also delivered a win in No. 3 doubles thanks to senior Farris Cunningham and junior Lee Levy. The duo downed Lina Qostal and Nicole Berkman, 6-4.
RU returns to action on March 8 when it hosts Binghamton at the East Brunswick Racquet Club.
