AUG. 17 UPDATE: Due to the forecasted inclement weather, and out of abundance of caution for the safety of our fans and the team, Sunday's Fanfest has been canceled. Autographed posters and footballs by players of the team will be available on The Rutgers Boardwalk for fans at the team arrival prior to the season opener versus Howard on Thursday, Aug. 29.
PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The annual Rutgers Football Fan Fest returns to SHI Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 18 from 5-7 p.m. The free event includes popular elements from The Rutgers Boardwalk and autographs, with free parking available in the Scarlet Lot.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet the team during the autograph session, presented by Knights of the Raritan. Pick up the official 2024 Rutgers football season poster, take on the inflatable obstacle course, play games, stop by the face painter, caricature artist and enjoy fun for the whole family. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase on the field.
Rutgers Kid's Club members can claim the first of the 2024 Rutgers Kid's Club collectible pins and a free lanyard at Fan Fest. For any non-members, the Rutgers Kid's Club will be offering free sign ups to join the fun for the 2024 season.
Prior to Fan Fest, fans are encouraged to cheer on Rutgers women's soccer in its match against Wake Forest. Game time is set for 1 p.m. at Yurcak Field.
