Men's and Women's Basketball to Host Annual Toy Drive with SAAC

PISCATAWAY, N.J. — This holiday season, Rutgers men's and women's basketball will be hosting Toy Drives at Jersey Mike's Arena, presented by PSEG.
The Toy Drive for women's basketball will take place on Sunday, Nov. 30 against Saint Peter's at 3 p.m. while the men's will be on Tuesday, Dec. 2 versus Purdue at 8 p.m.
Donors at both contests will receive a concessions voucher for a free drink to be used at the event of donation.
Fans will be able to drop donations off at both events outside the entrance to Jersey Mike's Arena.
All donations will benefit the New Brunswick Public School District Early Childhood Education program, including local preschools (kids ages 3-5). Gifts should be new and unwrapped, with a value of $20 or more.
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be hosting the event, looking to give gifts to over 225 kids this holiday season. The donated gifts are set to be wrapped and delivered during the week of Dec. 8.
