EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. – The Rutgers women's tennis team (7-6, 1-4 B1G) was defeated by the No. 46 Penn State Nittany Lions (12-3, 3-2 B1G), 4-1 Saturday afternoon.
Doubles
Doubles duo No. 1 Mai Nguyen & Naomi Karki gave RU the advantage with a 6-2 win.
The Nittany Lions then tied doubles play with a win on court 2, before winning the point on court 3.
Singles
Nguyen then got the Scarlet Knights on the board winning 6-3, 6-2 to tie the match at one all.
However PSU grabbed three straight singles wins on courts two, three and five to take the dual.
