PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers women's tennis team (7-11, 1-9 B1G) was defeated by the No. 28 Iowa Hawkeyes (12-6, 6-3 B1G), 4-1 Sunday afternoon.
Doubles
Minchae Kim & Karina Jumazhanova were leading 5-2 in their unfinished match, while the Hawkeyes collected the doubles point with wins on courts one and three.
Singles
Iowa grabbed the first singles point with a win on court two before Mai Nguyen earned a ranked win, beating No. 115 Tereza Dejnozkova 6-3, 6-3.
Jumazhanova and Kim then both won their first sets in the tiebreaker, before the matches went unfinished. The Hawkeyes then won on courts four and six to take the dual.
