NEW HAVEN, Conn. ā The Rutgers women's tennis team triumphed at the second day of Yale's Bulldog Invitational.
The Scarlet Knights secured two doubles and seven singles wins against Brown. RU now sits at a total of four doubles and eight singles wins so far at the tournament.Ā

Two Scarlet Knights doubles pairs came out on top.
Zuzanna Frankowska and Savannah Cohen emerged victorious, 7-6 (8), for the pair's second win together of the weekend. Ā
The other new duo, Stella Schmitz and Zeynep Ilker, also earned their second consecutive victory in doubles, 6-3. Ā

RU picked up seven wins in singles play.
Karina Jumazhanova had a strong first set, 7-5, before falling in the second (3-6) and going on to win in the third, 10-8.
Frankowska earned consecutive victories in her first two sets, winning after a tiebreak (6-1, 7-6 (5)).
Ilker recorded her second singles win of the tournament to lead Rutgers (6-4, 6-3).
Naomi Karki earned a straight set victory over her opponent (6-3, 6-2), with Cindy Zhou doing the same (6-0, 6-3).
Cohen and Schmitz both collected their first singles wins as Scarlet Knights. Cohen found victory in straight sets (6-3, 7-5) while Schmitz battled to come back in the third set (6-0, 4-6, 10-7). Ā

Mai Nguyen concluded her first day atĀ ITA All-Americans in Cary, North Carolina on Saturday.Ā
She had a well-fought match against Kansas'sĀ Sandugash Kenzhibayeva, unfortunately falling in the third set (6-3, 5-7, 6-3).
