UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. — Rutgers tennis was defeated by Penn State, 4-1, on Sunday afternoon.

Doubles

Despite the Scarlet Knights battling hard, Penn State secured the doubles point today. Pair Zeynep Ilker and Zuzanna Frankowska were playing a close match, 3-5, but did not get to see it to completion.

Singles

Karina Jumazhanova was the lone Scarlet Knight to take home a singles point today. She won her match on court two, 6-3, 7-6 (7-5).

RU fought on all six courts, but ultimately, the Nittany Lions walked away with the win.
