Women’s Lacrosse No. 25 in ILWomen Media Poll

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's lacrosse received its first ranking of the season, checking in at No. 25 in this week's KANE Women's Division I Media Poll, released by ILWomen on Monday.
The Scarlet Knights are 8-5 this season, with all five losses coming to opponents ranked in the IWLCA Coaches Poll. RU's resume includes a 9-8 road win at then-No. 25 Ohio State on March 19 in Columbus, as well as a Big Ten Conference victory at USC on March 28 in Los Angeles.
Rutgers has faced six foes ranked in the IWLCA Coaches Poll and will close the regular season with three ranked opponents in its final four games – vs. No. 6 Michigan (April 9), at No. 4 Northwestern (April 15) and vs. No. 18 Penn State (April 18).
The Scarlet Knights possess the eighth hardest schedule, with their past opposition owning a combined .669 winning percentage. RU is also No. 14 in this week's RPI and is receiving votes in the coaches' ranking.
