Track and Field Primed for Big Ten Championships

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers track and field will travel to Lincoln, Nebraska for the 2026 Big Ten Outdoor Championships on Friday, May 15 through Sunday, May 17. The Scarlet Knights enter the weekend competition ranked in the top-10 in several events.
Competition at the Nebraska Outdoor Track begins at 11 a.m. on Friday with live coverage of the three-day meet, including streams for the events on the track and in the field available via B1G+. Rutgers boasts four outdoor Big Ten medalists on the men's side, including 2024 Big Ten Champion Bryce Tucker in the 400-meter hurdles. More than a dozen Scarlet Knights on both the men's and women's squads have secured podium finishes at past Big Ten Outdoor Championships.
Sincere Robinson ranks first in the conference in the long jump with his career best mark of 8.13m (26' 8.25"). He leads a long jump group that is No. 1 in the country with Donavan Anderson ranked fourth in the Big Ten and Zach Love at sixth. Anderson also has a top-five mark in the triple jump.
Rutgers ranks 4-5-6 in the Big Ten in the pole vault, led by school record holder Kevin O'Sullivan at No. 4, followed by Brian O'Sullivan ranked fifth and Ryan Merlino at No. 6. Malachi Yehudah has the fourth-best mark in the high jump entering the conference meet.
On the women's side, Celine-Jada Brown ranks second in the conference in the long jump while Alianna Eucker also has a top-10 mark in her event, ranking ninth in the league in the javelin.
The Scarlet Knights will field a group of relay teams that are poised to medal. The men's 4x100-meter group ranks sixth, while the women's 4x400 sits 10th among the Big Ten squads.
