A native of Manalapan, N.J., Jake Schwinger is in his third season with Rutgers Baseball, where he serves as the head student manager and bullpen catcher.
In his role, Schwinger oversees the daily operations of the student manager staff while also working closely with the Rutgers pitching staff as a bullpen catcher during practices and all home and away games throughout the season.
Schwinger attended Manalapan High School, where he was a two-year varsity baseball player for the Braves. A junior in the School of Arts and Sciences, Schwinger is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in sport management.
