Cinjun Erskine is in his second season with Rutgers football and first as a graduate assistant in 2023. Erskine previously served as a player development assistant for the Scarlet Knights during the 2022 season.
Prior to Rutgers, Erskine worked at Del Valle High School in Austin, Texas, where he was the team’s defensive coordinator in 2021. Erskine also worked as an assistant coach at IMG Academy (2020) in Bradenton, Florida, and at the College of Saint Scholastica (2019) in Duluth, Minnesota.
As an undergraduate at Bucknell, Erskine was a student assistant from 2016-18 and played for the Bison as a freshman in 2015 before suffering a career-ending injury. Erskine earned the Bobby Pangburn Memorial Award in recognition for his commitment, dedication and unqualified friendship to the program.
A native of Barnegat, New Jersey, Erskine earned his bachelor’s degree in education from Bucknell in 2019.
