• Played in 27 total games and made 13 starts 
• Averaged 4.9 points and 1.7 rebounds per game 
• Set career high in rebounds with nine in the season opener versus Manhattan (Nov. 4) 
• Ranked fourth on the team with 22 steals and registered er career best three takeaways three times, including twice in Big Ten play  
• Recorded four games with 10+ points a season high 13 points twice 
• Ranked fifth on the team with a 76.6 free throw percentage and fourth with 36 shots made at the line 
• Made a career best nine free throws in the final game of the regular season against Penn State (March 2) 

2023-24 | Freshman

• Started 20 of 31 games during her first season
• Averaged 6.7 points and 1.9 rebounds per game 
• Recorded 10+ points in nine contests including a career best 17 points versus Northwestern (Dec. 30) in her homecoming to Chicago 
• Ranked second on the team with a .830 free throw percentage
• Hit a single game high seven from the line against the Wildcats
• Set career-highs of six rebounds and four three's against Saint Francis (Nov. 18)
• Dished out two or more assists 12 times during the slate, including a career best five helpers versus La Salle (Dec. 5)

Prior to Rutgers 

• Led her team at Example Academy to the 2023 Independent National Championship 
• Hailed as the two-time Herald News Player of the Year and an Illinois All-State honoree 
• Prior to her time at Example Academy, Thompson attended Joliet West High School, where she also guided her squad to three consecutive conference championships her first
• three seasons 
• Averaged double-digit points all four years of her high school career, including 23 points per game during her junior season 
• Also recorded over five rebounds, three assists and four steals per game during her third year 
• Named a McDonald's All-American Nominee as well as earning an invite to the USA Women's U17 World Cup Team Trials.  
• Shined in the classroom as well, earning a spot on the Honor Roll four years in a row and Alpha Kappa Alpha student of the month selection twice
