Why Rutgers? “I chose Rutgers because of the competitive academics and athletics. The team culture is family oriented which is extremely important while still competing at a high level. The coaching staff is incredible and overall the program is amazing. Rutgers is close to home which makes it easy for my family and friends to come and watch me play which was a huge factor for me.”

Prior to Rutgers
Played four seasons of varsity soccer for Middletown North ... scored 15 goals with four assists as a junior in 2023 ... earned All-State honors and was named Middletown North's most valuable player ... led the Lions to 2023 Shore Conference Coaches Cup ... played club soccer for PDA North Blue ... three-time ECNL conference champions and national finalists in 2022 ... four-year member of high school honor roll.

Daughter of Jason and Carolyn Malanda ... father played football at TCNJ ... mother played soccer at Georgian Court, was inducted into GCU and CACC Hall of Fame, scored 103 career goals and was the 1996 CACC Player of the Year ... has one sister, Kelly ... intends to study exercise science.
