CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Today's NCAA Championship Charlottesville Regional game between No. 23 Rutgers and No. 25 Oregon State, scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at Davenport Field, has been moved to Monday, June 4 at 1:00 p.m. due to heavy rains in the area from Tropical Storm Barry.
The game, originally set for 1:00 p.m. Sunday, was pushed back to 6:00 p.m., but field conditions forced the postponement to Monday.
The Rutgers-Oregon State winner will advance to take on host Virginia on Monday at 6:00 p.m., needing to beat the top-seeded Cavaliers twice to qualify for next weekend's Super Regionals. A fifth game (if necessary) will be played Tuesday June 5.
