Scarlet Knights Wrap Up Spring Break Trip

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Rutgers women's tennis team finished its annual spring break trip to Florida with a 1-2 record. The Scarlet Knights topped Broward Community College 9-0, but fell to Barry University 5-4 and were defeated by Nova Southeastern 7-2.
Rutgers, which moves to 8-6 on the year, had little trouble with Broward, sweeping the match without dropping a single team point.
Against Barry University, the Scarlet Knights picked up singles victories from Katrina Elder-Bush (Boston, Mass.), Polina Zaretser (Brooklyn, N.Y.), and Katherine Arlak (Leonia, N.J.).
The Scarlet Knights return to the RU Tennis Complex for their next three matches, starting with BIG EAST foe Georgetown on Sat. March 29 at noon.
