Rutgers Rolls Past Seton Hall, 6-1

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers women's tennis team picked up five singles victories and swept all three doubles matches en route to a 6-1 BIG EAST victory over Seton Hall Friday afternoon at the RU Tennis Complex.
Rutgers, which has won back-to-back matches, improves to 12-8 overall and 6-4 in conference play.
"This was a very convincing win for us," head coach Ben Bucca said. "It was great to have both seniors out there winning singles matches for us and leading the team to victory."
Senior Katrina Elder-Bush (Boston, Mass.) won at No. 1 singles 6-4, 6-1 over Denise Liebschner, while classmate Anela Dujsic (Mississauga, Ontario) won easily 6-2, 6-1 over Nathalie Ranger at the No. 6 spot.
Additionally, freshman Amy Zhang (Plano, Texas) won her tenth straight singles match with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Danielle Viola. Sophomore's Katherine Arlak (Leonia, N.J.) and Christine Tran (Centreville, Va.) also picked up singles victories for RU.
Rutgers will wrap up the regular season Sunday against West Virginia. The match, which will be the final home match for Elder-Bush and Dujsic, will be at the RU Tennis Complex at 12 noon.
