Cantwell Earns BIG EAST Weekly Award

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers women's lacrosse sophomore attacker Brooke Cantwell (Moorestown, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the second consecutive week and the fourth time this season. Cantwell registered four goals, nine draw controls and four ground balls in two games last week. She finished first in the BIG EAST with 3.5 draw controls per game, and as of April 13, ranked ninth nationally in that category.
Cantwell and the rest of the Scarlet Knights will next play in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship against top seed Syracuse on Friday, April 25, at 5:30 p.m. The winner of that game will face the victor between Notre Dame and Georgetown on Sunday, April 27, at noon. The BIG EAST Championship will be played at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind.
