Cantwell Named to BIG EAST All-Tournament Team

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Rutgers sophomore attacker Brooke Cantwell (Moorestown, N.J.) was selected to the BIG EAST All-Tournament team, the league announced Sunday. In the Scarlet Knights' semifinal loss to eventual champion Syracuse, Cantwell finished tied for the team-high with two goals. She also recorded a team-high three draw controls.
Cantwell led the team with 36 goals and 49 points in 2008, while finishing first in the BIG EAST and ninth nationally with 3.4 draw controls per game. She was named to the BIG EAST First Team at the league banquet on Thursday.
The Scarlet Knights finished their season 7-10, 2-3 in conference play.
