
Rutgers Women's Lacrosse Hosts Inaugural Winter Warrior Challenge

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (December 22, 2009) - Head Rutgers women's lacrosse coach Laura Brand-Sias announced the 1st Winter Warrior Challenge to be held Sunday, Feb. 21 at the RU Bubble. The clinic is open to high school girl's lacrosse players and will focus on four vs. four play.
Players must sign up as a team and teams must have a minimum of six players (including a goalie) and maximum of eight participants. Each team must have a goalie. The camp is open to any and all entrants within the advertised age group provided that space is available.
Every team will be asked to wear the same color. Brand elite, LLC will provide the champion, runner up and third place teams with prizes.
The registration deadline is Thursday, Feb. 18. The cost is $50 per player and check-in will be from 7:45 - 8:15 a.m. at the RU Bubble with the clinic beginning at 8:15 a.m. and ending at 1 p.m.
