WLAX Rounds Out 2015 Recruiting Class

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers women's lacrosse has rounded out its recruiting class for next season with the addition of NLI signee, Dana Gisonno (Airmont, N.Y.), head coach Laura Brand-Sias announced Monday.
Gisonno will join fellow signees Abigail Lee Brooks (Moorestown, N.J.), Tess Howland (Glen Ridge, N.J.), Devon Kearns (Cherokee, N.J.), Dakota Pastore (Somerville, N.J.), Emily Santana (Springfield Delaware County, Pa.) and Regina Sharp (Suffern, N.Y.) "On the Banks," next season.

Prior to Rutgers: Three-time all-section and two-time all-league and all-county player at Suffern HS ... leading scorer on the squad, guiding Suffern to back-to-back New York State Championship appearances ... entered her senior season with 144 goals, 53 assists and 75 draw controls ... posted an astounding 62% shooting percentage ... also plays basketball at Suffern.
Personal: Daughter of John and Linda ... has one brother, Vincent ... intends to major in education ... a black belt in Karate.

As a top scorer on a perennial New York State Championship contender, Dana comes to Rutgers with a great competitive background.
