Tennis Travels to Army for the West Point Invite

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers tennis returns to action with a trip to Army for the West Point Invitational this weekend. The invite is slated for Sep. 27-29 with action beginning at 9 a.m. ET each day.
SCARLET KNIGHT DRAWS
Junior Maya Jacobs, and sophomores Tess Fisher, Sydney Jones, and Sydney Kaplan will compete in the A singles flight. Sophomore Kristiana Zahare and senior Kat Muzik, represent RU in B singles, while senior Jaci Cochrane competes in C singles for the Scarlet Knights.
The duos of Jacobs and Zahare, and Jones and Fisher pair up in A doubles, while the duos of Cochrane and Kaplan, and junior Isabelle Da Silva and Muzik compete in B doubles.
SCHEDULE AND LOCATIONS
Friday, Sept. 27 – 9 a.m.
Two rounds of main draw doubles and one round of main draw singles will take place on Friday. Flights for A doubles and the top half of the B doubles, as well as A, and B, singles flights will be played outdoors at the Malek Outdoor Tennis Center. The bottom half of the B doubles and C singles flights will be played indoors at Lichtenburg Indoor Tennis Center.
Saturday, Sept. 28 – 9 a.m.
Two rounds of doubles, two rounds of main draw singles, and two round of consolation singles are scheduled for day two. A, B, and C singles, as well as A and B doubles main draw matches will be outside at the Malek Outdoor Tennis Center.
Sunday, Sept. 29 – 9 a.m.
The final day begins with singles semifinals followed by the doubles finals and concludes with the singles final. All matches will be played outdoors on Sunday.
