STATESBORO, Ga. – Rutgers baseball kicks off its spring break road trip with a three-game series at defending Sun Belt champions Georgia Southern.
The Eagles are 7-6 after dropping both of their midweek games to Georgia. Last season, GS won the Sun Belt and hosted the Statesboro Regional of the NCAA Tournament as the No. 16 overall seed.
Rutgers is coming off an 18-3 victory on the road against Wagner on Tuesday. Prior to that, RU was swept on the road by UNC Greensboro.
Drew Conover will once again get the start for RU on Friday. True freshman Christian Coppola returns to the rotation and will get the ball on Saturday. Jake Marshall will start Sunday's series finale.
All three games of the series will be broadcast on ESPN+. Fans can also follow along on Twitter for live updates. Live stats will be available for all three games.
