Why Rutgers? "I chose Rutgers because of the coaching staff and how they invest into their players. Rutgers has always been a dream of mine as well, being able to play baseball for my hometown in a power 5 conference. Rutgers doesn’t just feel like home, it truly is home for me."
2025 (Sophomore)
- Went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs in finale at Maryland (5/17)
- 6-for-14 vs. Penn State with a home run, five RBIs and five runs scored (5/9-11)
- Had a hit and run scored in all three games in sweep of Illinois (5/2-3)
- Went 7-for-14 at Ohio State with a home run, three doubles, seven RBIs and six runs scored (4/25-27)
- Had a hit and run scored in all three games at Nebraska, scoring four runs total (4/4-6)
- 3-for-4 in rubber-match win over Washington, doubling and scoring twice (3/30)
- Went 6-for-12 against Cal Baptist, driving in three runs and scoring twice (3/14-16)
- Hit first home run as a Scarlet Knight in win over Iowa and drove in three for the series (3/7-9)
- Had hits in all three games at Coastal Carolina (2/28-3/2) and singled with an RBI and walk versus Delaware (3/4)
- Had five hits at Grand Canyon, drove in three, tripled and stole two bases
- Had hits in all three games at Kennesaw State, going 5-for-12 on the weekend with two RBIs and two runs scored (2/14-15)

Prior to College: Ranked No. 45 overall prospect in New Jersey and No. 7 outfielder by Perfect Game … played varsity baseball at Franklin High School … was teammates with former Scarlet Knight and 2024 Big Ten Player of the Year Josh Kuroda-Grauer from 2020-2021… hit .429 for Warriors in high school career … earned scholar-athlete award from Skyland Conference … also played basketball in high school.
Personal: Son of Bobby and Pam Bonds … has three brothers, Braxton, Trey and Mason … father, Bobby Bonds II, was drafted by San Diego Padres and played 11 seasons of professional baseball … uncle is Barry Bonds, MLB’s all-time home run leader … grandfather is three-time MLB All-Star Bobby Bonds, who played 14 years in the major leagues.
