| I started playing field hockey because…: | My mom played in high school. I wanted to try something new when I was in second grade. So I asked my mom what sport she played to get an idea of what else I might like to do. I started playing that summer. |
| I chose Rutgers because…: | The coaches, and the field hockey team is like a family. And I think Rutgers is just my type of place. |
