SENIOR SALUTE
Rebecca Hall will graduate as one of the most prolific hitters in program history. Heading into her final home series, Hall ranks second in program history in career hits (215), doubles (47) and RBIs (138), while coming in third with 29 home runs. An NFCA All-Greak Lakes First Team selection in 2017, the Fairfax, Va. native will play in her 200th career game this weekend with a career batting average of .334. She is one of just three Scarlet Knights to have over 200 hits for a career "On the Banks." She will graduate with a degree in psychology.
Jacqueline Kott is a third-generation Scarlet Knight, with her parents, William and Jeannine both graduating in 1989. Her grandfather, two uncles and one of her cousins also attended Rutgers. With 124 career games played, Kott has 36 runs scored for Rutgers. One of her highlight games came against Hofstra in 2017, when Kott drove in a career-high two runs to help Rutgers top the Pride, 11-5, in New York. She will earn a degree in marketing.
Sierra Maddox has played 170 games for the Scarlet Knights, primarily behind the plate in the catcher's gear. Maddox has been a consistent presence in the middle of Rutgers' lineup over the past four years, with 120 hits and 81 RBIs to her name. She has also flashed plenty of power with the bat, ranking fourth all-time in the Scarlet Knight record book with 22 career home runs. Defensively, Maddox has thrown out 27 would-be base stealers, and fittingly, has a minor in criminology. She will graduate with a degree in biology.
Meaghan Wells is a sure-handed third baseman with a perfect fielding percentage during her senior season "On the Banks." Piscataway's own has 121 career games as a Scarlet Knight with 21 RBIs. Wells has a knack for hitting in the clutch, owning two game-winning or go-ahead hits over her career. A second-generation Scarlet Knight, her father Gene is the long-time equipment manager at Rutgers and owner of the 800m record on the men's track and field team. Wells will earn a degree in plant science this spring.
