PRINCETON, N.J. – Rutgers women's tennis began its fall campaign at the Princeton Invitational from Sept. 13-15. The draw style invite saw each Scarlet Knight play in at least three singles and three doubles matches against opponents across six different teams. The squads in attendance included Cornell, Penn, Princeton, Syracuse, and Temple.
"I am happy with how we competed all weekend. Our team implemented more aggressive doubles play and stayed consistent from the baseline," said Head Coach Hilary Ritchie. We were especially tough in singles. Our players were able to turn around deficits in several matches. The teams we competed against were a good test this weekend. Overall, it was a great start to the fall season."
