STORRS, Conn. – Rutgers baseball will play its final nonconference series of this season this weekend, heading up to Storrs to take on former Big East rival UConn in a three-game set.
The Huskies are 13-5 and are coming off a midweek win over UMass after taking 3-of-4 last weekend at San Diego State.
Rutgers swept a pair of midweek games against Lafayette and Rider and took 2-of-3 from Mercer last weekend. The Scarlet Knights have won nine of their last 10 games.
RU will go with the same rotation as last week, with RU will run back the same rotation for the third staright week, with Drew Conover starting game one on Friday, true freshman Christian Coppola starting game two and Jake Marshall starting on Sunday.
All three games of the series will be broadcast on UConn+ through uconnhuskies.com.
