Gymnastics Earns 6th Best Score in Program History at Michigan St.

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Rutgers gymnastics recorded a season-high 196.275 at a high-scoring Big Ten dual meet at No. 7 Michigan State on Saturday, registering the sixth highest team score in program history.
 
Michigan State claimed the Big Ten victory with its 197.475 despite Rutgers outscoring its season-best score by 0.925.
 
Gabrielle Dildy ended the meet with her first career 9.9 on beam, placing third in the event at the Big Ten dual against the No. 7 ranked Spartans.

Floor and vault both set season highs in the dual to push RU to its best team score of 2025.

On floor, all five scorers came in at 9.8 or above, led by Delaney Adrian's career-high tying 9.875 and Elliot Goldsmith's career-high 9.875. Maya Jones and Dildy scored 9.825's, as Elia Aird chipped in her 9.800.

Dildy paced the vault squad with her 9.850, while Rachael Riley reached her best career vault score at 9.825.

Adrian led the way on bars with a career-high tying 9.850.

  • Rutgers' 196.275 is the sixth best score in program history and 10th 196+ since the beginning of the 2022 season. It was also a season-high, surpassing their previous mark of 195.350 by 0.925.
  • Rutgers combined for a season-high 49.200 on floor.
  • Rutgers set a season-high on vault for a second consecutive week, totaling 49.050 (previous high was 48.775 for an increase of 0.275).
  • Gabrielle Dildy scored a career-high 9.900 on beam, her first career 9.9 on beam and sixth 9.9 overall.
  • Delaney Adrian matched career bests on vault (9.750), bars (9.850), and floor (9.875).
  • Matis Rains increased her career-high on beam to 9.850.
