CHERRY HILL, N.J. - No. 13 Rutgers rowing opened the 2025 season with six race victories in the Big Ten Ivy Dustup on Saturday on the Cooper River competing against three nationally ranked squads.

The morning session was highlighted by the 3rd Varsity 4A boat winning with open water (6.6 seconds) over No. 14 Ohio State and No. 6 Yale. Yale claimed five wins during the first block of races.

The Scarlet Knights gained momentum in the latter half of the season opener, winning all five races with open water against No. 11 Penn - including the Varsity 8 (+8.4 seconds), 2nd Varisty 8 (+8.1), the Varisty 4 (+12.8), the 2nd Varsity 4 (+22.4), and 3rd Varisty 8 (+12.5).
