PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's golf was recognized for its outstanding work in the classroom with the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-Scholar Team GPA Award, announced on Wednesdsay.
The honor recognizes the Scarlet Knights for having the eighth-highest GPA in the country and the second-highest GPA in the Big Ten, with the team posting a 3.917 GPA in 2024-25.
RU has been recognized on the WGCA's top 25 rankings eight times in the last nine seasons, finishing as high as No. 3 in the country in 2018.
Rutgers continues to stand out as one of the elite academic programs in the country, with seven members of the team being named
WGCA Division I All-American Scholars in June. Additionally,
Emily James,
Krystal Li,
Lorena Rossettin and
Lucrezia Rossettin were all named Big Ten Distinguished Scholars this week.
