Scholastic: Ranked No. 25 overall prospect in New England and No. 2 catcher by Prep Baseball Report ā¦ set for senior season at Canterbury School under head coach Todd Mathewson ā¦ was teammates at Canterbury with current Rutgers pitcher Andrew Rondini ā¦ hit .321 as a junior with two home runs, four doubles, 19 RBIs and 16 runs ā¦ all-league honoree ā¦ hit .323 with a 1.102 OPS as a sophomore in 2024 with four home runs, eight doubles, one triple, 19 RBIs and 13 runs scored ā¦ earned All-NEPSAC honors ā¦ also played hockey in high school.
Personal: Son of Elliot and Jeanne Martel ā¦ has one sister, Lillie ā¦ intends to study business.
