Dr. Joshua Katz, DO joined Rutgers Athletics in July 2024 as a sports medicine fellow. In his role, Dr. Katz works alongside team physicians to provide healthcare for student-athletes.
Originally from Warren, New Jersey, Dr. Katz is no stranger to the Garden State. He attended the University of Michigan then returned to N.J. for medical school at Rowan SOM. During his at Rowan he created a sports clinic in the community for special needs children and he received the national award for Excellence in Public Health from the United States Public Health Service (USPHS).
Dr. Katz graduated from the Rutgers-RWJ Family Medicine Residency where he completed the fellowship track in sports medicine.
