Rutgers University Athletics

Dr. Nehi Patel, DO joined Rutgers Athletics in July 2024 and serves as a sports medicine fellow. In her role, Dr. Patel works alongside team physicians to provide healthcare for student-athletes. 

Dr. Patel was born and raised in North Brunswick, N.J. and attended University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. She then attended Rowan SOM for medical school. Dr. Patel graduated from the Rutgers-RWJ Family Medicine Residency where she had the opportunity to cover Rutgers Athletics sporting events.
