Rutgers University Athletics

Bringing experience at the professional and collegiate levels, Nick Jenkins joined Rutgers as assistant director of football equipment in 2022. The role includes handling the day-to-day needs of the program in the equipment room.

Prior to arriving in Piscataway, Jenkins worked at Army (football) and Marshall (football and softball) on the equipment staff. That came after stops in the NFL with the Houston Texans (2018) and Cleveland Browns (2017).

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jenkins graduated from The Ohio State University in 2017 as a sports industry major, communications minor. He worked with the football program as a student manager for four years, serving as head football student manager as a senior.
