PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's swimming & diving closed out the home portion of its 2024-25 schedule on Saturday with day two against Iowa & Nebraska with the Scarlet Knights collecting a top 10 time in the 1650 free and wins in the 100 back and on 1-meter.
Iowa edged Rutgers, 182.50-170.50, while Nebraska topped the Scarlet Knights, 210.00-143.00.

- Junior Megan Fox collected the eighth fastest time in the Rutgers record books in the 1650 free in 16:45.67. Fox, who finished third in the event, knocked 6.86 seconds off her previous PR of 16:52.53 set at the Gamecock Invitational in 2022.
- Martyna Piesko, one of the nine Scarlet Knights of the Class of 2025 honored prior to the meet, led RU to victory in the 100 back in 54.29. It marked Piesko's fourth 100 back title of her career.
- Rutgers also took the title on 1M as freshman Katerina Hoffman won the event in the second-straight meet for the Scarlet Knights. Hoffman took the top score with a 288.35.
- Graduate student Molly Urkiel posted a pair of runner-up times. She claimed a time of 1:01.52 in the 100 breast and clocked in at 4:15.58 in the 400 IM.
- Fellow graduate student Shannon Meadway gave Rutgers a third-place finish in the 200 free hitting the wall in 1:50.86.
- Both Scarlet Knight relays took third. The 400 medley relay squad of Piesko, Urkiel, Cameron Kuriger and Brooke Thompson registered a time of 3:42.45 in the 400 medley to open the morning while Meadway, Ella Hall, Grace Weaver and Piesko closed out the meet in the 400 free in 3:26.42.
