GERMANY – Rutgers track and field student-athletes
Charlee Crawford,
Paige Floriea and
Chris Serrao will represent Team USA at the 2025 World University Games in Rhine-Ruhr, Germany on July 21 through July 24.
Coming off a season in which the trio were part of a record-setting outdoor campaign, Crawford will compete in the World University Games 400-meter and 4x400 relay, while Floriea will take on the field in the long jump and Serrao in the 110-meter hurdles.
Rutgers qualified a school record eight Scarlet Knights for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in 2025 with Crawford, Floriea and Serrao each making their debuts at outdoor nationals. Serrao was named Second Team All-American for his performance with Crawford and Floriea earning Honorable Mention All-American status.
Crawford and Floriea will be the first to compete for the Scarlet Knights in Germany with their events beginning on Monday, July 21, while Serrao will take to the track on Wednesday, July 23. Click
