BUFFALO, N.Y. – Rutgers volleyball sophomore Aspen Maxwell was named to the Buffalo Invitational All-Tournament Team.

Maxwell, a native of Houston, Texas, who transferred into the program from Missouri last spring, led Rutgers against Marist, Liberty and host Buffalo, averaging 3.93 kills and adding nine blocks across 14 sets.

The sophomore right side hit .346 with 14 kills and four blocks in her Scarlet Knight debut on Friday afternoon in a 3-1 win over Marist. She followed up with 20 kills and 12 digs for her first career double-double to go along with four blocks in a five-set match with Liberty on Saturday night and added a career-high 21 kills in a five-set contest with Buffalo on Sunday afternoon.

The Rutgers volleyball team returns to action in Fairfield, Connecticut, this weekend to take on Dartmouth, LIU and host Sacred Heart.
