2025 (Redshirt Freshman)

• Matched career high with five innings at No. 9 Oregon, giving up just one run on four hits, striking out two and walking just one (3/21)
• Pitched a career-high five innings against Cal Baptist, striking out a career-best six (3/14)
• Made collegiate debut in season opener at Kennesaw State, starting a pitching four scoreless innings with three hits, two walks and five strikeouts (2/14) 

2024 (Freshman): Did not see action due to injury ... redshirted. 

Prior to Rutgers: Ranked No. 12 overall prospect and No. 6 RHP in New Jersey by Prep Baseball Report ... No. 14 overall prospect and No. 8 RHP in New Jersey by Perfect Game ... missed senior season with injury ... made five starts on the mound for Seton Hall Prep as a junior, also picking up a save in his lone appearance out of the bullpen … had a 0.84 ERA and 0.96 WHIP in 25.0 innings, striking out 33 batters and walking just seven … named a junior all-star … played travel ball for Morris County Cubs … honor roll student in high school … member of school Math Team and Math Honors Society.

Personal: Son of Ken and Kim Shadek ...has one brother, Daniel, and one sister, Gabriella ... majoring in mechanical engineering.
