NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Rutgers women's tennis team continued to shine at the second day of Yale's Bulldog Invitational, picking up seven wins included two in doubles and five in singles play. 

Through two days in New Haven, Connecticut, the team has won a total of 14 matches, made up of five doubles nine singles victories. 

Doubles 

Two Scarlet Knights doubles pairs came out on top against the Brown Bears.  

Minchae Kim and Karina Jumazhanova emerged victorious, 7-5, for the pair's second win together of the weekend.  

The duo of Jackie Lopez and Cindy Zhou also earned their second consecutive victory in doubles, 7-6 (6).  
 
Singles 

RU picked up five wins in singles play, with victories for Mai Nguyen, Lopez, Zeynep Ilker, Jumazhanova and Zuzanna Frankowska. 

Nguyen was up 3-2 in the first set before her opponent couldn't finish and she came away with the win.  
 
Lopez secured her first win of the tournament, winning the tiebreaker in the second set, 6-2, 7-6 (5).  

Ilker recorded her second singles win of the tournament to lead Rutgers. She won the first set, 6-1, before falling in a close second set, 6-4. She ultimately came back in the super tiebreak to come out on top, 10-2.  

Jumazhanova and Frankowska both collected their first singles wins as Scarlet Knights. Jumazhanova found victory in straight sets (6-2, 7-5) while Frankowska battled to come back in the super tiebreak (7-5, 5-7, 10-6).
