Why Rutgers? "I chose Rutgers for their world-renowned academics and big campus. I also knew that I wanted to play baseball at a Division I school, and Rutgers has been building an amazing program under Coach Owens. Another consideration was that it is close to family and friends."
Head Coach Steve Owens: "Andrew is a starting pitcher with a solid three-pitch mix. He competes at a very high level and wins. With his high-level commitment to training in the offseason, we expect his senior year to be outstanding."
