Why Rutgers? “I chose Rutgers because I am from New Jersey and playing for my home state means a lot to me and my family. Also, the combination of great academics and competing at a high level of athletics is awesome.”

Head coach Steve Owens: “We are very pleased that Danny will be joining our program in the Fall.  He is an accomplished hitter who had a breakout season in 2022 with his offensive productivity.  Danny hits for both power and average and will be a great addition to our position player group.  Another NJ product, we welcome him back home to compete for his home state in the Big Ten Conference.  We look forward to working with him to continue his development and feel he will fit in great with our current players and established culture.”
